Instead, he offers both important insight and education in the psychopathology of child sexual offenders, while telling his own chilling, haunting story in the process. Both a riveting read, as well as an important education. A must-read!(I'd imagine the one-star reviews on this site are from Jerry Sandusky boosters. Anyone who is still standing by the elder Sandusky, despite the outpouring of facts from his many child victims, and his criminal conviction, is complicit.)

"Undaunted" was an incredible book that was well written and extremely informative! Matt gives insight into his feelings and his line of thought as he experienced the many trials in his life. The book flowed very easily and truly helps one to better understand what he was going through and why he made the choices that he did. He just spoke for our Child Advocacy Center in Aiken, SC and was one of the best speakers we have ever had! He is truly one of the bravest people I have ever met!!
Matt Sandusky's book is truly inspiring. As a trauma therapist for over 30 years, I find myself grateful for such clear explanation and illumination. The nuances and (to many) the mysteries that trap children and teens in distructive, confusing relationships are at the heart of "nice guy" predation, the most common type. Our children need everyone to understand where dark manipulation "hides in plain sight". Coming from a CSA survivor, the lessons of hope and the leadership toward recovery are especially powerful. No doubt, the additional burden of being the most identifiable victim of an infamous abuser was heavy. It took strength and courage to speak out then and, now, to share hard-won truths and insight. Wisdom graces these pages.

The way to cure a disease is to understand everything about it. We must Protect all children, heal all who are wounded, and eliminate all the elements that proliferate this vicious disease

What an incredible story. Matthew Sandusky tells it real. This should be read by every person who has a child, every person who has ever been abused, and every person who knows of someone who was abused. Anyone who has been abused as a child KNOWS that Matt Sandusky came out with his story exactly the way and exactly when MOST survivors come to grips with what happened to them. He has given his life to help those who have been abused in past. He is selfless, kind, compassionate and strong!
